Patton Township Approves Zoning Changes for Toftrees Resort Redevelopment
A planned major redevelopment at Toftrees Golf Resort took a notable step forward this week with the help of Patton Township’s Board of Supervisors. At its meeting on Thursday, the board unanimously adopted a zoning ordinance change that will aid the development of the resort’s estimated $50 million expansion and upgrade project. One on One Fitness Raises $30,000 for Centre Volunteers in Medicine and Youth Service Bureau
Once again, One on One Fitness Center raised north of $30,000 last year to benefit a pair of local nonprofit organizations. The health and fitness center, located at 424 W. Aaron Dr. in State College, collected and donated $30,170 through its 2022 “Give Back” initiative, according to a press release this week. The raised funds will benefit the gym’s two chosen charities, the Centre County Youth Service Bureau and Centre Volunteers in Medicine.

Centre County Eyes $1.36 Million Grant for Whole-Home Repairs Program
Centre County is anticipating a grant in excess of $1 million from a statewide program for housing habitability, energy and accessibility needs. The Whole-Home Repairs Program, administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Economic and Community Development and funded through the American Rescue Plan Act, allocates money to each county, but counties must apply for the grants by Jan. 31, Deputy Human Services Administrator and Director of Adult Services Faith Ryan told the Board of Commissioners on Tuesday.

One on One raises more than $30,000 for CVIM, YSB
STATE COLLEGE — One on One is pleased to announce it raised $30,170 through its Give Back initiative in 2022, and over a half-million dollars since its inception in 2009. In addition to special events and direct donations from One on One, Give Back provides One on One’s clients with the opportunity to pay for certain services by making a donation to one of its chosen charities, either the Youth Service Bureau or Centre Volunteers in Medicine.
