Dallas received a score of 100 on the Human Rights Campaign Municipal Equality Index, released Wednesday.

The index measures how inclusive a city is for LBGTQ+ people who live and work there, taking into consideration how a city or town supports the LBGTQ+ community when it comes to employment, law enforcement, and leadership.

“This score is a testament of our ongoing commitment to working for, with, and on behalf of Dallas employees and residents from the LBGTQ+ community,” Dallas Director of Human Resources Nina Arias said in a written statement.

The city said inclusion was part of the fabric of Dallas and it would continue to support efforts to help all its citizens thrive.
