Kellie Bright has uploaded a video onto instagram today showing her rehearsing for the cast carol service at Elstree with some of the cast, almost certainly confirms that she is still filming and will be staying once Mick leaves over the festive period

Neither did I, nothing has ever suggested Linda would leave as well,

    No surprise.

Why would she want to leave the security of regular, high paid work just because her co star's leaving?

I'm really glad she's not leaving. Bad enough losing Danny Dyer without losing Kellie Bright.

Will Linda stay in The Vic?

I never thought Linda would go. For a start they wouldn't give such a major character an unannounced exit.

Watch the whole thing be an elaborate ruse now with her sailing off into the sunset with Mick on Christmas Day!

Very happy about this. It would have been terrible form of them to write out a very talented actress from the show on the basis that her male co-star decided to leave. I would have hated that.

One of the best characters of modern EastEnders who was overshadowed by her husband for 6 years. She only started shining when the alcoholism storyline started, even the rape reveal was mostly about Mick finding out that Dean was his brother.

Shes doing volunteering work. Thats not confirmation shes staying.

I went back to my old work place to help with charity events a couple of times after I'd left.

They are really hammering home that Mick and Linda are a love story and Janines getting in their way.

I really dont think theyd kill off Mick in between killing off Dot and Lola.

I think someone will disrupt Mick and Janines wedding and all the truth will come out. Janine will kidnap Linda and theyll go over the cliff with Mick in pursuit.

But I think Janine will be arrested and Mick and Linda will reunite and decide to move closer to their children.

Which children though? Lee is in Dover and Johnny is up north

I still don’t believe they wouldn’t announce Kellie’s departure in advance, like they did with Danny and Charlie’s

Even without the instagram story showing her at Elstree, it was said she was still filming anyway

They didnt announce Nancy or Rainies exits.

They wouldnt want to ruin the surprise that Mick and Linda go together.

Nancy and rainie weren't big characters

It just sets a precedent that characters can leave unexpectedly.

It only works with smaller characters. If linda is leaving then i cant see any reason for Shirley to stay

True and we saw it only a couple of weeks back with Kheerat too.

I just think there’s a big difference between these characters leaving unannounced and someone who has been the Vic landlady for not far off a decade. More than prepared to be proven wrong though (and it would be a fitting end for both characters really).

They didn’t, but I don’t see them not announcing Kellie’s exit after being in the show for 10 years

It’s of course possible but I just don’t think it will happen

I agree with all of this. I can't see Linda staying once Mick leaves. They are meant to be together.

I think they will keep it as a surprise like they did when Stacey was revealed as Archie's killer - I never expected Stacey to leave then.

Tbf not even the cast knew who Archie’s killer was untill the night, and then Stacey left 10 months later, but her exit was announced in advance
