Friends of Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park invites Big Island to Holidays in Kahuku

Come celebrate this weekend with Friends of Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park as it marks its 25th anniversary of supporting the park and rings in the holidays at the same time.

Holidays in Kahuku will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 3. The free community event will be hosted in the park’s Kahuku Unit and feature crafts for sale, food vendors, free shave ice and face painting for the keiki. The following lineup of performers also will provide entertainment:

  • 10:30 a.m. Hula performance by Hālau Ulumamo o Palikū.
  • 11 a.m. Music by The Kipapa Sisters.
  • Noon: Music by Shootz.
  • 1 p.m. Music by The Jazz Gardeners.
  • 2 p.m. Music by Dem Guys.

Friends of Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park is a nonprofit organization and the official philanthropic partner of Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park.
