MAHONING VALLEY, Ohio (WKBN) – Over 2,500 people were without power throughout the Valley in the midst of rain and windy conditions Wednesday morning.

According to First Energy’s website, almost 1,500 were without power in Mahoning County. Almost 1,000 of those without power were in Campbell. As of 2 p.m. Wednesday, the number stands at 150 customers still without power.

More than 700 customers were without power in Trumbull County, with the majority of those outages in Champion and Warren. Wednesday afternoon, only 25 customers were without power.

Columbiana County also had over 750 customers without power. Now, there are just below 200 people without power.

Lauren Siburkis, from First Energy, said downed lines and tree debris from high wind speeds are causing outages throughout northeast Ohio. She expects all power to be restored soon.
