The public will encounter road closures on State Route 246 in Solvang on Saturday, Dec. 3 during the town's annual Julefest parade.
State Route 246 on Mission Drive will be closed to through traffic from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. from 5th Street to Pine Street.
Signage will be in place notifying the public of the road closure, Caltrans officials noted.
Officials encourage all motorists to proceed with caution through all work zones.
