New store aims to cater to thrifting trend

NEW STRAITSVILLE – New Again Thrift Store is the latest addition to New Straitsville and the result of Perry County local Holly Brown’s dream come true. Located at 115 Main St., the shop opened its doors Aug. 27 to sell clothes, food, home items and more at an incredibly affordable price –“yard sale prices,” as Brown likes to put it.

Brown, who lives near Logan, grew up visiting yard sales and thrift stores and continued to do so as she raised her children, both because she loved it and it was what she could afford in hard times. In recent years, Brown saw an increased interest in thrifting amongst people from every economic background.
