Business owner pleads in underage nudity case

NEW LEXINGTON – A New Lexington business owner who was charged with possessing and transferring material showing a minor in the nude has taken a plea in the case and will likely serve jail time.

Records of the Perry County Common Pleas court indicate that on Nov. 16 Thomas R. Everett entered a plea of no contest to illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material or performance, a fifth-degree felony. Everett had been indicted on July 25 on two counts of this offense, one a fifth-degree felony and the other a second-degree felony.
