HALE COUNTY, Ala. (WBMA) —
At least 30 homes were estimated to be damaged after strong storms passed through Hale County late Tuesday.

The Hale County Emergency Management Agency said around three or four of the homes were destroyed, as of 1:00 a.m. Wednesday morning.
Officials said people could be without power for several days in the Oak Village Community and the American Red Cross has been requested.
Akron Mayor Jonathan Rossell said at least four houses were damaged, 50 trees were down, and there is no power on Oak Village Road. No injuries were reported.
All Hale County Schools and offices will have a two-hour delayed opening on Wednesday, November 30.
