ONE OF THE ADULTS IS THIS MAN...JAMES JACKSON. POLICE SAY JACKSON AND ANOTHER PERSON ARE ACCUSED OF SENDING THE JUVENILES INTO WALMART TO STEAL. AFTER THE YOUNG PEOPLE WERE CAUGHT...POLICE WERE MADE AWARE OF THE ADULTS IN THE PARKING LOT. POLICE SAY THEY FOLLOWED THIS BLACK HONDA FROM WALMART IN BYRAM TO POWERS AVENUE IN JACKSON WHERE THE CAR CRASHED... THAT'S WHEN JACKSON AND THE OTHER SUSPECT WAS ARRESTED. <THERE WERE TWO INDIVIDUALS WHO WERE TAKEN INTO CUSTODY IN REGARDS TO THE PURSUIT. ONE ON AN UNNAMED STREET IN JACKSON WHO BAILED OUT ON FOOT AND THE OTHER ONE RIGHT HERE AT POWERS AVENUE AND WOODROW WILSON.> CAPITOL POLICE -- JACKSON POLICE AND HIGHWAY PATROL ASSISTED IN THE ARREST

Byram police confirm chase began at Walmart on Henley Boulevard

Three teenagers and an adult were taken into custody after allegedly leading Byram police on a chase.According to the Byram police chief, officers received a call about juveniles shop lifting high priced items at the Walmart in Byram on Henley Blvd. around 7 p.m. Tuesday. The chief said when officers arrived at the store, they approached an adult and teenager in a black Honda Police said the adult and teenager sped off. Byram officers said they began chasing the suspects on I-55 north to University Blvd. onto Medgar Evers Blvd.Police confirm the chase ended in the front yard of a home on Powers and Woodrow Wilson Avenue. Capitol police, Jackson police and the Mississippi Highway Patrol assisted with the chase. No injuries were reported.
