Portland Police have identified a man killed in the Creston-Kenilworth neighborhood on November 23.
45-year-old Raja McCallister died from gunshot wounds according to the Medical Examiner. The manner of death was ruled a homicide.
Police say on November 23, they were sent to the 4200 block of Southeast 37th Avenue in the Creston-Kenilworth neighborhood on the report of a person shot.
When officers arrived they found a victim and despite life-saving aid, the victim was declared dead on the scene. Homicide detectives responded to take over the investigation.
On November 24, 63-year-old Teddy Wayne Hall Senior was booked into the Multnomah County Jail after being located and arrested by Portland Police Bureau Detectives.
Hall has been charged with one count each of murder in the second degree and unlawful use of a weapon.
