Apple Music hopped on the year-end chart trend by launching Replay, and surprisingly, the songs that dominated the charts were not even released this year.
Apple Music Replay revealed that Justin Bieber and Kid Laroi's "Stay" is their top global song of the year, which is quite ironic, given that it was not even released in 2022.
This year-end chart saw a number of songs released from previous years, some in 2021 and some going as far back as 2020, including Adele's "Easy on Me" and Glass Animals' "Heat Waves."
Hit songs released in 2022 also graced the top global songs like "As It Was" by Harry Styles, "abcdefu" by Gayle, and "First Class" by Jack Harlow.
Aside from the aforementioned songs, Apple Music's top global songs for 2022 listed: "Wait for U" by Future featuring Drake and Tems, Kodak Black's Super Gremlin," "Cold Heart (PNAU Remix)" by Elton John and Dua Lipa, and Bad Bunny and Chencho Corleone's "Me Porto Bonito."
On the other hand, the list also noted that Bad Bunny was named the artist of the year by Apple Music, which comes as no surprise given that the Puerto Rican artist has received several awards and recognitions throughout this year. Clearly, 2022 is his year.
Bad Bunny's "Un Verno Sin Ti" was also recognized as Apple Music's biggest Latin album of all time by lifetime streams.
Elsewhere in Apple Music Replay, "We Don't Talk About Bruno" from the Disney movie "Encanto" once again proved its magic by appearing on the top of the most-read lyrics chart, reports say.

Pandora Music
According to reports, Pandora's Top Thumbed Tracks of 2022 showed similar results.
Top of their list is "Wait For U" by Future featuring Drake and Tems, "Provenza" by Karol G, "To the Moon" by Jnr Choi," "I Hate U" by SZA, Nicki Minaj and Lil Baby's "Do We Have A Problem?", "As It Was" by Harry Styles, "First Class" by Jack Harlow, ""Me Porto Bonito" by Bad Bunny and Chencho Corleone, "Hate Our Love" by Queen Naija and Big Sean, and finally Morgan Wallen's "You Proof."
Pandora is much like Apple Music and Spotify. It is a music streaming platform that also offers the same features as radio, playlists, and discovery algorithms.
While both Pandora and Apple Music Replay have released their year-end charts, arguably the most anticipated year-end chart is Spotify Wrapped.
According to Spotify, music lovers would have to wait a little bit longer for this year's wrapped, but fans can still listen to the top songs, albums, and artists compiled from 2021 right now while they wait.
