The Cleveland Cavaliers weren’t able to defeat the Toronto Raptors on Monday night, falling 100-88 in a tough away game loss.

But even though the team didn’t pull out the win, there were still many things to be proud of for the Cleveland team.

Darius Garland was incredible again, for example.

And Evan Mobley definitely showed up again too.

Mobley was good for 18 points and 15 rebounds, earning year another monster double-double.

Double-doubles aren’t anything new for Mobley.

In fact, he’s been producing quite a few of them this year.

Some people might not say it but Mobley has quickly become one of the best big men in the league and he’s a major reason why the Cavs are surging again this year.

Mobley’s Momentum

It’s remarkable to see how consistent Mobley has been.

In 2021-22, his first season in the league, Mobley averaged 15 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 2.5 assists.

This season, he’s earned 15 points, 9 rebounds, and 2.3 assists.

That’s an almost mirror image of his rookie year, which is an impressive accomplishment.

The Cavaliers are loaded with so much talent, from Garland to Donovan Mitchell to Robin Lopez, Dean Wade, Jarrett Allen, and more.

But Mobley is perhaps the most crucial part of the team, due to his ability to dominate in the paint because of his big size.

He can be both offensively and defensively powerful – and the Cavs need that in order to win.

The goal for the Cavs this season is to make it far into the playoffs.

The idea of them getting to the Finals isn’t too far-fetched, as they currently sit in third place in the East.

If the Cavaliers are able to go far, it’ll be because Mobley continues to play like the powerhouse he is.
