    Not a difficult choice for me here.

    Sole half to Janet Jackson please. I thought she had a few decent hits in the 90s.

    Build Me Up Buttercup, Save Your Love, My Coo-Ca-Choo, The Millennium Prayer - all my "favourites" bunched together in this round!

    We've previously had (what
    I consider to be) some very weak rounds, but I would say that this round is the weakest so far.


    A vote for the Foundations.
    "Build Me Up Buttercup" was composed by Mike D'Abo, the then lead singer of Manfred Mann. He also composed "Handbags and Gladrags", which I think is a better song than this one.

    Half to Alvin Stardust.
    I like quite a few of this artist's singles. Missed out on getting my vote by the slimmest of margins.

    No second half from me in this round.


    The Frank Ifield and Renee & Renato songs are guilty pleasures, but I don't feel guilty about not giving either half a vote.

    I'm not keen on any single by Erasure, and I cannot stand Janet Jackson.

    As for the rest of this selection - no thanks.
