The Idaho Horse Park Foundation and City of Nampa hosted a groundbreaking ceremony earlier this month to celebrate the planned construction of approximately 80 additional full-service RV spaces at the Ford Idaho Center Horse Park. The additional RV capacity is intended to support continued growth at the park, according to a recent press release; the park currently has 44 permanent RV spaces. Funding for the additional RV spaces, which will be constructed on the east end of the Ford Idaho Horse Park property, has been provided by the City of Nampa and the Snake River Stampede, as well as funds raised by the Idaho Horse Park Foundation. Construction of the additional RV spaces is expected to be completed in spring 2023.
“This expansion of our RV capacity is something that has become increasingly vital as we fulfill our charter of honoring and highlighting the western heritage that built our great state,” Sherri Boardman, Idaho Horse Park Foundation vice president, said in a statement. “The generosity and commitment of everyone who has helped make this project a reality has been vital to the future of our park.”
