Well dear friends, we're into our 11th week of this year's thread (and just about as many years of this thread!).
Hope you all enjoyed Week 10 - some bizarre marking from the judges again but hey, I'm almost immune to it now.
Loved Helen's carefree fun and letting her hair down.
Would love to see a bit of an 'upset' this week and for Kym to make it through. Exciting stuff!

Our Series Prediction League Table, is so so close with 6 points separating the Top 5 with MusicQueen and OuatFan96 sharing the spoils of the lead currently. In the home straight now with 3 weeks to go!!!

- OuatFan96 and Reys got every prediction spot on, picking up the full ten points.
- Only ten players predicted Will and Nancy would top the leaderboard
- However, all but five thought Ellie T and Johannes would pull in the lowest score

Rules are below - super simple and straightforward:
*You may join the Vote at any time and do not need to have participated from Week 1 and it's OK too if you miss a week out.
*Your predictions will be entered into the weekly prediction competition and into the Prediction League Table for the 2022 Series.
*For each correct prediction there will be the following points awarded: 2 points for Highest, 2 points for Lowest, 2 points for EACH correct couple in the Bottom 2 and for the task of the Elimination prediction there will be awarded 2 points. You may vote for joint couples on highest and lowest - you will get 2 points for each correct guess - so 4 points up for grabs BUT if 1 guess is wrong you come away with nothing for the joint prediction. This will make for up to 15 prediction points up for grabs in our weekly game and entered onto the League Table.
*Results and updated League Table will be posted up each week by the lovely Fudd - as soon as is able.
*You will be allowed one set of predictions with the exceptions of:
*If your predictions are posted up pre the issuing of the full dance list on the official BBC website, you may change your predictions for once only after the dances have been released in full.
*Each time a celebrity pulls out with injury or illness or because of covid you will be able to post up a fresh set of predictions to replace the affected celebrity withdrawal.
*Deadline for your predictions is any time pre the live show broadcast beginning.

Sorry it doesn’t fit with your ideal world but I think that DO situation has a high likelihood - similar to Tilly vs Rhys last year. If it’s not this week it’ll probably be next.
The two best dancers left are not going to be in the DO.
Because we all know the best dancers don’t end up in the dance off *pretends Ashley Roberts doesn’t exist*
There are exceptions to the rule of course, but not in this case.

Accurate though
Because her AT, Waltz, Samba and Rumba involved her pretending to Beyoncé. 😏😏
Ashley was just used as a comparison, yes she was better but that’s to be expected given her experience (didn’t like the amount of flak she got as a ringer though).
Point is, the competition isn’t solely about who’s the best, it’s about who the public likes the most. The ‘best’ dancer of the series rarely wins and many of them find themselves in DO, but some people won’t admit that if it involves their favourites.
The survivors of the dance off since week 3 are:

It is not unreasonable to assume the 2 people who have been in 3 dance offs apiece are going to be there again. Week 8 and 9 also had Fleur topping the leaderboard, which made it quite unlikely for her to fall into the dance off from there even if her public vote was low. Everyone left in the competition now is a good dancer, there is no obvious dross.
