Seattle police arrested a driver outside the West Precinct Tuesday after another motorist called saying he was being followed by someone with a gun.
A 911 call came in early Tuesday morning from a 31-year-old man who left a gas station at 7th Avenue and Denny Way and noticed a driver in a gray van following him, according to police.
According to the victim, the suspect kept pace, running several red lights and flashed a gun at him when the van pulled alongside him.
Officers were able to pull the van driver over when the suspect followed the victim to the West Precinct.
Both drivers had apparently been involved in a dispute over a line-cutting incident at a convenience store earlier in the day, according to police.
Police recovered a handgun and arrested the 48-year-old suspect, who is a convicted felon and is unable to legally have firearms, police said.
The suspect has been booked into King County Jail and is facing charges of harassment, theft and a firearm violation.
