Travel conditions look to be difficult tonight if you are headed through the Columbia River Gorge.
The National Weather Service says a Winter Storm Warning will go into effect at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday through 4:00 a.m. Wednesday for the Western Columbia River Gorge.
Places in the Western Columbia River Gorge such as Corbett, Rooster Rock, Multnomah Falls, Cascade Locks, North Bonneville, and Stevenson could see heavy snow with 2 to 9 inches falling. Winds will gust up to 40 mph.
The warning will expire in the Central Columbia River Gorge at 10:00 a.m.
Places in the Central Columbia River Gorge such as Parkdale, Odell, Hood River, Carson, and Underwood could see more snow with total accumulations of 6 to 12 inches expected and winds gusting up to 35 mph.
