According to the Seattle Police Department (SPD), a driver called 911 at around 1:45 p.m. saying their passenger had been injured in a shooting near the corner of 6th Ave. S and S Spokane St.

Police are investigating a shooting that left a man injured in Seattle’s SoDo neighborhood on Tuesday.

According to the Seattle Police Department (SPD), a driver called 911 at around 1:45 p.m. saying their passenger had been injured in a shooting near the corner of 6th Ave. S and S Spokane St.

Police met the driver and the victim near the West Seattle Bridge, immediately provided first aid and took the victim to Harborview Medical Center.

Witnesses told police that a suspect driving a silver or gray car opened fire - hitting the victim in the shoulder.

Officers are still searching for the suspect.
