Ruthless NYC crew pummels teen, beats him with cane
A ruthless crew pummeled a 15-year-old boy and beat him with a cane and a stick outside a Queens store Monday, cops said.
The teen victim was standing outside a 99-cent store on Broadway near 48th Street in Woodside around 4:15 p.m. when four strangers, also believed to be teens, approached him, police said.
“Are you the guy that jumped our friend?” snarled one of the suspects, according to authorities.Previous 1 of 2 Next
Then the group started assaulting the victim – one hitting him so hard in the back of his head that he temporarily lost consciousness, cops said.
Two of the attackers used a cane and a stick to strike the teen, police said.
The victim told police he did not know any of the crew members or why he was targeted.
He was taken to Harlem Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
Police released photos of all four suspects early Tuesday.
They fled in a white Mazda SUV, heading south on 48th Street, authorities said.
