Onondaga County Executive Ryan McMahon will host another town hall Thursday evening to inform the public about plans for a Micron Technology chip fab in the town of Clay.

The meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. at North Syracuse Junior High School, 5353 W. Taft Road. Representatives from Micron also will be present.

McMahon has conducted several such meetings, and plans more in the future, to answer questions and hear comments from the public about the massive development.

Micron announced in October that it plans to build as many as four semiconductor manufacturing plants over the next 20 years at the county’s 1,400-acre White Pine Commerce Park off Route 31. The company’s investment could total $100 billion and lead to as many as 50,000 direct and indirect jobs, Micron said.
