Funeral service for Timothy Burton, age 59 of Sulphur Springs, Texas will be held at 2:00 P.M. at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Bethal Cemetery with Adam Martin, Mike Wolmack, Tim Schulz, Travis White and Michael Harper serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Mr. Burton passed away on November 26, 2022 at his residence.
Tim was born on June 26, 1963 in Bedford, Indiana to Richard Lee and Brenda Lou (Hawkins) Burton. He married Tonya Rushing on August 26, 2005 in Texarkana, Arkansas. Tim worked as a commercial painter. He was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church of Sulphur Springs.
He is survived by his wife, Tonya; Stepson, Adam Martin; granddaughter, Lacie Martin; grandson, Trey Martin; sisters, Kimberly Hanson and husband, Steve, Crystalee Schulz and husband, Timothy, Luann Reihle and husband, Ted; brother, Robert Burton and wife, Alison; numerous nieces and nephews.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Brenda; brothers, Keith Anderson, David Kallenberger and Richard Burton Jr; grandparents; granddaughter, Eathan Martin.
