Anaheim visits Nashville looking to bounce back after closing its Thanksgiving weekend homestand with losses to Ottawa and Seattle.
"It's every day when you're a rebuilding team. Every day there's something to work on," head coach Dallas Eakins said. "There isn't a day that goes by that, whether we're on the ice, practicing, trying to get better or if it's video or one-on-one things. It's every day where we're trying to fix every part of the game. But our main focus right now has to be o-zone play, maintaining o-zone play."

Anaheim now turns its focus to getting results on the road, where the Ducks are just 2-9-1 so far this season.
"We need to come out and play our] way from the start," Troy Terry said. "Play aggressive, play with each other, make plays. It's frustrating for all of us right now because I see how hard veryone in this room has been working and I know how hard it's been for everyone. We just need to do it for a full 60 minutes. We have shown that we can play against all of these top teams, it's just a mindset thing for us right now that we need to fix."
The Ducks will hope to bring their suddenly hot power play on the road with them after connecting for three goals on the man advantage Sunday against Seattle.
"We got that part done," Eakins said. "We won the special teams game [Sunday]. We need to do that more often. We did a lot of work on special teams [Saturday] in practice. It was a real focus in practice and good on the guys to deliver."
Power-play goals have come in bunches this season for the Ducks, with nine of the club's 10 on the year scored in just four games.
The Preds host the Ducks for what was supposed to be the finale of a three-game homestand, but after a water main break at Bridgestone Arena postponed both of Nashville's games scheduled for this weekend, tonight will be the Preds' first game action in nearly a week.
