Club shops closing

(from BBC)

Some Premier League and EFL clubs have closed their club shops and online retail operations, saying the company running them has gone into administration.

Elite Sports Group also distributes the products of kit suppliers Hummel and the likes of sSouthampton and Coventry City.

It means there is uncertainty over orders placed for club products before the festive period.

Southampton ended their partnership with the company recently.

So does this affect anyone on here?

Yep, I think a lot of the clubs involved have either cancelled their deal with Elite or found a temporary workaround but Cov still have a 'come back soon' page for the online store and both physical club shops still shut, good timing for Black Friday and Christmas orders

A lot of other clubs seem to have got something sorted, whereas apparently all our stock was in their warehouses so it's a big question mark about everyone's orders and when anything will be available again. Good thing this is all happening at a time when nobody looks to buy stuff.
