SURPRISE! A New Gelato Stand Has Arrived in Disney’s Hollywood Studios

It’s been quite the whirlwind of a week here at Disney World — the canopy has officially been lit on TRON Lightcycle / Run, showtimes for Happily Ever After were announced, and Disney’s 100th anniversary officially kicked off! And boy did we find tons of merch this week for the occasion. Come take a look at everything we saw in Hollywood Studios this week!

Disney World has been pretty busy lately with the closing of Splash Mountain, the upcoming changes to nighttime shows, and the upcoming grand opening of TRON Lightcycle / Run. While all of that has been focused on the parks, we can’t leave out Disney Springs! One of our absolute favorite spots to grab a bite to eat in Disney Springs is Jock Lindsay’s Hangar Bar, where you’ll find plenty of delicious eats and drinks to whet your whistle with, too. And right now, Jock Lindsay’s is serving up some special eats for Disney’s Celebrate Soulfully event — let’s check them out!

This time, we’re celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Walt Disney Company with new nighttime shows, all kinds of collectibles, and PLENTY of food! We shared FULL look at all of the 100th Anniversary treats in Disneyland here, but right now it’s time to head to Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream for a sweet treat!

There are so many great restaurants in Disney Springs to try out, and we know we have to revisit them when new snacks are released (not that we’re complaining!). When guests visit Disney’s Port Orleans — French Quarter Resort they know they’ll find an array of Creole and Cajun dishes, snacks, and drinks. Apart from these staples, sometimes the resort has specialty dishes depending on the time of year. With February being Black History Month, Celebrate Soulfully is coming back to Disney World as the parks and resorts share special offerings as part of the celebration.

One fan-favorite Disney World treat just got a seasonal update, and we’re heading to Disney’s Hollywood Studios to check it out!. Over at Woody’s Lunch Box, you’ll find eats like grilled cheese with tomato soup, totchos (tater tot nachos), and — of course — lunch box tarts! These are basically fancy pop tarts, but somehow they’re also so much more than that. Come along with us to try the latest flavor of lunch box tart, which arrived for Disney’s Celebrate Soulfully event.

We’ve already checked out some new Disney 100th anniversary Happy Meal toys at McDonald’s, and there’s an entire collection of Loungefly bags themed to the popular fast food chain.
