The ones who had to endure Wales...!!!

Does anyone think at least some of the celebs who had to endure the cold of a castle in Wales these last two years should at least have the offer of doing it again in Oz? Not all of them, even by at least the final 3 of each of the 2 series?

I know I wouldn't have agreed to do the Welsh version! I'd have held out for some warmth! But clearly ITV were desperate to keep an audience through Covid restrictions and came up with the Welsh version- but that's not the celeb's fault, or anywhere near the Oz version when it comes to the experience.

I was really hoping some of the Welsh celebs would have had the chance to 'go again' in Oz this year. Unless ITV are thinking about an all-stars from the last 5 years in Oz which would let at least some of the Welsh celebs take part?

Or am I just being really soft?! :/

They didn’t have last year’s King of the Castle crown Jill Queen of the Jungle as they always did in the previous years.

I wonder if certain people went in purely because it was at home rather than despite that

I remember reading an article last year that some celebrities turned it down last year after they realised it was in Wales. I wonder if any of them did it this year? I’m thinking maybe Boy George and Chris would have waited until they were back in the jungle but wouldn’t be so keen on a holiday to Wales in November.

Richard Madeley definitely, as he had to leave camp so early.

Not soft, as the Castle might have been a good idea to use, but the tasks were dark and not so easily seen. Out in the open is right place for them, and where they have always been. As for heat, but they had a fire, and the Campers might have said they felt cold, and they could have been in the lit room upstairs. Have an idea that one of them did say they slept upstairs, where it was warmer.

If you bring them back to warmer climes, you'd still get some complaints. I'd love to see them face lions. :D
