Hollyoaks spoilers follow.

Hollyoaks has shared more details about this year's exciting Christmas episodes.

The McQueens will be taking centre stage over the festive season as Olivia causes more trouble ahead of her wedding to Prince and a familiar face returns for the occasion.

While we'll have to wait until early December for the full line-up of Christmas storylines and pictures, these early teaser clues should keep us going in the meantime.

Here are six storylines coming up.

1. Mercedes and Felix could be in trouble with Bobby

Mercedes' 11-year-old son Bobby is one to watch in the coming months as his frightening behaviour is far from over. The schoolboy is already responsible for the deaths of his stepdad Sylver and his serial killer great-grandfather Silas, but he may not be finished yet.

Things heat up for Mercedes when her new love interest Felix joins the McQueen family for Christmas dinner.

With Bobby growing increasingly sinister, what will he think when he spots his precious mother developing feelings for someone new?

    2. Olivia's tensions with Romeo boil over

It's no secret that Romeo isn't a fan of Olivia – and he has previously expressed his reservations over whether she's the right woman for his best friend Prince.

Romeo and Olivia are thrown back into each other's orbits when they become co-stars in the village nativity. Prince is responsible for the unlikely team-up when he convinces Romeo to give Olivia the starring role of Mary.

Olivia loves the attention and starts hogging the spotlight, causing fresh tensions with Romeo.

Never one to back down easily from a battle, Olivia retaliates by making a harsh decision about her wedding guest list.

    3. Scott tries to give Vicky a treat

The festive season comes early for Vicky when Scott dons an elf costume and throws a pre-Christmas celebration for her.

The change of date comes as Vicky has decided to spend the festive period with her mum, who has just reached out to build bridges.

Unfortunately, some big news threatens to dampen the mood for the happy family.

    4. Darren becomes suspicious over Beau

Following Beau being recruited to the PE department at Hollyoaks High, Nancy hosts a Christmas party at The Dog for the teachers.

Darren isn't happy to see Beau looking so cosy with Nancy, fearing that the charming new arrival has the hots for his wife.

    5. Prince and Olivia's wedding

Prince and Olivia's wedding will bring the McQueens together this Christmas, as Prince's brother Hunter returns for the occasion.

Theo Graham has reprised his role as Hunter after previously bowing out from the Channel 4 soap in 2018.

Hollyoaks' recent winter trailer showed best man John Paul appearing ill-at-ease as he walks Olivia down the aisle. Is John Paul's sobriety at stake, or are there other secrets at play?

    6. Ethan and Sienna grow closer

Hollyoaks star Matthew James-Bailey recently teased a Christmas story for his character Ethan, who continues to get closer to Sienna Blake.

The pair have had a love-hate relationship for most of the year, but scenes previewed in Hollyoaks' recent winter trailer showed them looking cosy.

Matthew told Digital Spy last month: "You're going to see some very wholesome content for Ethan and Sienna over Christmas, that's what I would tease."

Hollyoaks streams first on All 4, with new episodes dropping each weekday morning. The show airs Mondays to Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, and at 7pm on E4.

Selected omnibus episodes are available via Prime Video.
