For the third time since 2017, Fresno State will travel to Boise State for the Mountain West championship game. It will also be the Bulldogs' fifth title appearance in ten years.

The Bulldogs and Broncos last met in the title game in 2018 at Albertsons Stadium. Fresno State won the meeting with a walk-off touchdown in overtime, 19-16.

"It's very similar. It's the championship game. It's at their place and the weather's probably going to be similar," said head coach Jeff Tedford.

Fresno State fell to Boise State in October during the season opener, 20-40. The team played the Broncos without captains Jake Haener and Evan Williams due to injuries.

Following the loss, Fresno State went on a seven-game win streak to clinch the west division.

Haener returned to play against San Diego State. In his last four games, Haener passed for 1,578 yards and thirteen touchdowns.

The Bulldogs will face Boise State in the Mountain West Champion in Boise, Idaho on December 3 at 1 p.m. PT on FOX26.
