Some strong storms possible Wednesday

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Tonight will be very nice with mainly clear skies and lows dropping to around 50 degrees.

Tuesday is mainly dry, but a few showers or storms will be possible the deeper we go into the evening hours. Temperatures will top out in the middle 70s with skies becoming increasingly cloudy as the day goes on. Tuesday night will likely have showers and storms, and a couple could be strong with gusty winds and possibly a weak tornado.

Wednesday morning starts off with showers and storms when we wake up, but they will be out of here before noon. Gusty winds of 60 mph and a weak tornado are possible. Temperatures will peak in the low to middle 70s.

Thursday clears out the rain and clouds. Temperatures will start around or below 40 degrees and end up in the upper 50s to near 60 degrees.

Friday will be mostly sunny and only a touch warmer than the day prior. Lows will start around 40 degrees and end up in the middle 60s.

Saturday and Sunday of next week will be in the 70s with partly cloudy skies.

Monday continues the great conditions from the weekend as morning lows start in the middle 50s and afternoon highs peak in the middle 70s under partly cloudy skies.
