The Horry County Administration Committee met Monday to talk about a company potentially coming to the area known only as "Project Cook."
Project Cook was presented as a resolution at the meeting.
ABC15 asked Horry County and North Myrtle Beach Council members to give more information about what the project is, but they said for legal reasons, they can't give any further information right now.
But here's what we could find.
Project Cook is an alias for a company who wants to remain anonymous.
Assistant County Administrator Barry Spivey said the name of the company won't be revealed until the third reading of the ordinance in 2023.
He said the project involved Horry County and North Myrtle Beach.
“Project Cook is one that the council has been briefed on. It is a project that is within the city limits of North Myrtle Beach," Spivey said.
The project is expected to create 146 jobs, according to the Horry County Administration Committee Agenda.
In addition, the project is expected to result in "The aggregate investment in real and personal property of at least $15,000,000."
That agenda said the purpose of the project is to "benefit the general public welfare of the county by providing services, employment, recreation, and other public benefits."
Spivey said there's an incentive of a 50% revenue credit which will last 10 years.
