According to the Texas Department of Safety, Gonzalez was first taken into custody in the 2000s, with crimes including Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, Retaliation, and Burglary of a Building. Later, in 2006, he was found guilty of Injury to a Child, which he originally faced two years of probation, which was changed to six month sentence in the TDCJ.

Amongst other crimes, Gonzalez is recently wanted for Assault of Family/Household Member by Impeding Breath/Circulation. Following that arrest, another warrant was issued, this time for a Parole Violation.
