RETAIL THEFT >> A female stole $700 worth of goods from Macy’s, 2500 Moreland Road, at 1:07 p.m. Nov. 10, but was apprehended and arrested and the items were recovered, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> A male was arrested and charged with retail theft Nov. 10 after taking $2,424 worth of merchandise from Bloomingdale’s, 2400 Moreland Road, police said.

FRAUD >> A resident reported Nov. 11 receiving a text message from Chase Bank to authorize a fraudulent purchase, which she denied and canceled the credit card, but after checking her wallet realized another credit card and $100 cash were missing, police said. The credit cards were used to make four fraudulent transactions totaling $5,525, police said.

FRAUD >> A resident reported Nov. 11 her credit card was used at a furniture store and for a cash advance, totaling $4,728 in fraudulent charges, police said.

COUNTERFEIT >> A female who attempted to pass counterfeit $100 bills at Arie, 2500 Moreland Road, Nov. 11 was taken into custody on an active Camden County, N.J., warrant and will be charged in connection with the counterfeit bills, police said.

BURGLARY >> A home in the 1600 block of Stocton Road was found burglarized and ransacked at 6:33 p.m. Nov. 11, police said. Entry was made by breaking a rear glass door, and two Rolex watches, valued at $12,000, were taken, police said.

VANDALISM >> Hillside Cemetery, 2556 Susquehanna Road, reported at 4:40 p.m. Nov. 12 the main road had been spray-painted, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> A female who attempted to take $545 worth of goods from Sephora, 2500 Moreland Road, at 2:59 p.m. Nov. 13 was charged with retail theft, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> A male stole $1,293 worth of goods from Target, 1495 Old York Road, at 10:23 a.m. Nov. 13, police said. The male was identified through video surveillance and charged with retail theft, police said.

FIRE >> A fire reported at 8 p.m. Nov. 13 severely damaged the garage and part of a home in the 200 block of Fisher Road, police said. The fire broke out in a vehicle inside the garage and then spread to the interior of the home, police said.

THEFT >> A vehicle in the 1200 block of Greenwood Avenue was found broken into at 1:16 p.m. Nov. 14, police said. The plastic housing of the steering column was removed and the registration and insurance cards were taken, police said.

VEHICLE THEFT >> A vehicle parked across from a residence in the 800 block of Jenkintown Road was reported stolen at 7:18 a.m. Nov. 15, police said. The vehicle was most likely stolen the previous day at 7:30 a.m., police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> Wawa, 861 Old York Road, reported at 11:13 a.m. Nov. 15 a group of teenage males stole several items, police said. The manager said it was an ongoing issue linked to Abington Senior High students, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> After officers responded to a report of retail theft at 4:32 p.m. Nov. 15 at Ross Dress for Less, 901 Old York Road, two suspects found at the train station platform were positively identified, police said. Both had active warrants for felony drug distribution, parole violations and terroristic threats and were arrested, police said.

THEFT >> A male reported at 9:51 p.m. Nov. 15 his wallet was stolen while he was playing basketball at Esporta Fitness, 371 Highland Ave., police said.

ASSAULT >> A male was located and charged with assault Nov. 16 following a domestic incident in the 2400 block of Old Welsh Road, police said. The victim had several visible injuries, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> A 44-year-old woman of 18th Street, Philadelphia, was charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property Nov. 10 in the 2500 block of Moreland Road, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> Two Philadelphia women, a 25-year-old of 59th Street and a 26-year-old of Sansom Street, were charged with retail theft Nov. 10 in the 2500 block of Moreland Road, police said.

ID THEFT >> A 30-year-old man of Rutland Street, Philadelphia, was charged with identity theft Nov. 7 in the 1900 block of Easton Road, police said.

ASSAULT >> A 24-year-old man of Wellington Road, Jenkintown, was charged Nov. 6 with simple assault, defiant trespass, disorderly conduct, harassment and public drunkenness following an incident in the 1000 block of Wellington Road, police said.

ROBBERY >> Iyanna Toney, 24, of 27th Street, Philadelphia, was charged Nov. 4 with robbery, retail theft, receiving stolen property and simple assault in the 2400 block of Moreland Road, police said.

AUTO RECOVERED >> A 16-year-old Bensalem male was charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle, receiving stolen property and false ID to law enforcement, after he and another juvenile were found occupying a stolen auto at 3:21 a.m. Nov. 7 in the 7600 block of Penrose Avenue, police said.

THEFT >> A catalytic converter reported stolen Nov. 7 from an auto in the 8400 block of Limekiln Pike had been stolen over the prior few days, police said.

AUTO THEFT >> A red 2019 Kia Sportage, PA tag LTS-1102, was reported stolen between Nov. 5 and 6, police said.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF >> A ring camera captured three juveniles breaking out glass panels on the front door of a home in the 300 block of Waverly Road at 10:17 p.m. Nov. 7 and fleeing in a waiting dark colored vehicle, police said.

THEFT >> A security camera recorded a vehicle parked at LA Fitness, 2401 Cheltenham Ave., being vandalized and entered at 10:49 p.m. Nov. 7, police said.

ROBBERY >> A slim, Black male, age 50 to 60, medium complexion, wearing black pants, a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark cap, glasses and white sneakers, implied he had a knife and assaulted a female in an attempted robbery at 7:10 a.m. Nov. 8 in the 2400 block of Cheltenham Avenue, police said.

BAD CHECKS >> Marcus Moment, 35, of the 5500 block of Hill Creek Court, Philadelphia, was charged with access device fraud, forgery, bad checks, ID theft and attempted theft by deception, after attempting to pass a bad check at 9:36 a.m. Nov. 8 at Citizen’s Bank, 7425 N. Front St., police said.

THEFT >> A female at H Mart, 7320 Old York Road, reported at 3:13 p.m. Nov. 8 her pocketbook was stolen by a male who fled on foot toward Old York Road, police said.

THEFT >> A purse was reported stolen at 3:34 p.m. Nov. 8 from a vehicle in the 400 block of Rices Mill Road, police said.

FRAUD >> A resident reported Nov. 8 after mailing a check at the post office, a check for $8,000 was written against the victim’s account, police said.

THREATS >> A threat to shoot up Cheltenham High School, 500 Rices Mill Road, made by a juvenile on social media Nov. 10 is under investigation, police said.

THEFT >> A MacBook Air was reported missing at 1:45 p.m. Nov. 10 from a residence in the unit block of Old Cedarbrook Road, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> A Black male wearing a red hoodie, black pants and black shoes stole items from Walgreens, 2727 Cheltenham Ave., at 5:45 p.m. Nov. 10 and fled west on Cheltenham Avenue on a bike, police said.

AUTO THEFT >> A gold 2001 Mercury Marquis, PA tag JTE1384, was reported stolen at 7:29 a.m. Nov. 11 from the unit block of Township Line Road, police said.

THEFT >> A wallet containing credit and debit cards, a PA driver’s license and $100 cash was reported stolen at 7:25 a.m. Nov. 11 from an unlocked vehicle in the 300 block of Oak Road, police said.

ATTEMPTED THEFT >> A vehicle in the 400 block of Beecher Avenue was found at 9:46 a.m. Nov. 11 with the steering column removed in an apparent attempt to steal the vehicle, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> A male stole $150 worth of goods from Target, 2450 Shoppers Lane, at 10:55 a.m. Nov. 11, police said.

ASSAULT >> Police received a report at 4 p.m. Nov. 11 that three male students assaulted two male students at Cheltenham High School, 500 Rices Mill Road, police said. One victim suffered a broken nose and will need surgery, police said. Investigation ongoing.

AUTO THEFT >> A 2011 Toyota Avalon, PA tag LYE5194, left running and unlocked, was reported stolen at 4:42 p.m. Nov. 11 from Panda Express, 2401 Cheltenham Ave., police said. It was recovered at 3:53 a.m. Nov. 14 at Bethel Deliverance Church, 2901 Cheltenham Ave., police said.

AUTO THEFT >> A black 2016 Hyundai Sonata, PA tag KDT2875, was reported stolen at 7:39 p.m. Nov. 11 from the unit block of Washington Lane, police said.

ATTEMPTED THEFT >> A vehicle in the 7400 block of New Second street was found at 10 a.m. Nov. 12 with a side rear window broken out and the steering column removed, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> Three people stole three cases of cigarettes at 7:27 p.m. Nov. 12 rom Wawa, 8250 Limekiln Pike, police said.

STRONG ARM ROBBERY >> Two young Black males, late teens to early 20s, robbed a female at 9:54 p.m. Nov. 12 in the 200 block of Bickley Road, police said. One, thin, wearing all black clothing and a mask, physically threatened the victim and demanded she turn over her purse, cellphone and the keys to her Alfa Romeo, police said. The second male stood by, but did not say anything, police said. The stolen vehicle was later found in the 700 block of Paxon Avenue, police said.

AUTO THEFT >> A silver 2012 Nissan Sentra, PA tag LXH5226, was reported stolen at 12:35 p.m. Nov. 13 from the 2000 block of North John Russell Circle, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> A male stole detergent from Walgreens, 2727 Cheltenham Ave., at 2:34 p.m. Nov. 13 and fled, police said.

VANDALISM >> A vehicle in the 2000 block of Cheltenham Avenue was found at 2:40 p.m. Nov. 13 with a window smashed, police said.

FRAUD >> A resident reported Nov. 13 a fraudulent claim was made on the victim’s VA benefits, police said.

ID THEFT >> A resident reported Nov. 14 the victim’s identity was used to fraudulently purchase a vehicle, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> A Black female wearing a gray hat and black mask stole an unknown amount of laundry detergent from Walgreens, 2727 W. Cheltenham Ave., at 12:52 p.m. Nov. 15, police said.

ID THEFT >> A resident reported Nov. 15 an unknown person used her personal information to obtain a student loan, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> A Black male wearing a black jacket, gray hooded sweatshirt and pink pants stole several bottles of Tide and fled at 3:16 p.m. Nov. 15 at Walgreens, 2727 W. Cheltenham Ave., police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> A thin, white male, 6 feet tall, wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and blue hat; and a thin white female, 5 feet 5 inches, wearing a denim coat and blue jeans, stole items from Ross Dress for Less, 3001 W. Cheltenham Ave., at 4 p.m. Nov. 15 and fled on a Septa bus, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> A black male with a beard wearing a dark polo, dark pants and brown boots took a patient’s jacket at 5:37 p.m. Nov. 15 at Nova Care, 1000 S. Easton Road, police said.

ARMED PERSON >> A driver of a vehicle, PA tag GWD-2947, reportedly pulled a gun and pointed it at a victim at 9:47 a.m. Nov. 16 at Cheltenham Avenue and Washington Lane, and went east on Cheltenham, police said.

THEFT >> A 24-year-old male of the 6000 block of Lawndale Street, Philadelphia, was charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property after taking items from Old Navy, 2401 Cheltenham Ave., at 2:08 p.m. Nov. 16, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> Juan Salinas, 33, of the 3000 block of Rorer Street, Philadelphia, was charged with felony counts of retail theft and receiving stolen property at 5:15 p.m. Nov. 16 after taking two cases of soda and three packs of batteries, valued at $87.95, at Walgreens, 2727 Cheltenham Ave., police said.

THEFT >> The catalytic converter was reported stolen from a 2013 VW Passat at 9 a.m. Nov. 17 in the 2100 block of South John Russell Circle, police said.

ATTEMPTED THEFT >> A vehicle in the 8400 block of Limekiln Pike was found at 10:50 a.m. Nov. 17 with the steering column ripped off, police said.

FRAUD >> A resident reported Nov. 17 fraudulent purchases were made on the victim’s stolen credit card, police said.

AUTO THEFT >> A 2017 Hyundai Sonata, PA tag LJH4440, was reported stolen at 12:27 p.m. Nov. 17 at Washington Lane and Lucretia Mott Way, police said.

GUN >> A white male in his 30s, operating a red pickup truck with a PA tag, pulled alongside of a female’s vehicle and pointed a gun at her at 2:10 p.m. Nov. 17 at Ashbourne Road and Central Avenue and then fled, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> Joshua Greer, 30, of the 200 block of East Haines Street, Philadelphia, was charged with aggravated assault on police, robbery, simple assault, resisting arrest, retail theft, fighting with police, and flight to avoid prosecution, after getting into a physical altercation with police at 5:19 p.m. Nov. 17 at Walgreens, 2727 W. Cheltenham Ave., where he had been stealing items for most of a year, police said. One detective was injured, police said.

AUTO THEFT >> A 2018 silver Hyundai Sonata, PA tag LLN1833, was stolen overnight Nov. 17 from the 7600 block of Massey Way, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> A male in his 50s stole a leaf blower and other items and fled in a black Nissan at 2:17 p.m. Nov. 18 at Home Depot, 7690 Washington Lane, police said.

VANDALISM >> The driver side window of a vehicle in the unit block of East Township Line Road was found broken with an attempt to take the car stereo at 9:16 a.m. Nov. 20, police said.

THEFT >> A thin Black male with a short beard, 6 feet, age 50 to 60, wearing blue jeans and a religious bracelet, stole an employee’s iPhone 13 Pro at 1 p.m. Nov. 20 at Ruby’s Cajun Seafood Boil House, 3001 Cheltenham Ave., police said.

ID THEFT >> A resident reported Nov. 20 a PGW account was opened in the victim’s name, police said.

THEFT >> A catalytic converter was reported stolen at 3:30 p.m. Nov. 20 from a vehicle at the Glenside Train Station, 5 W. Glenside Ave., police said.

Jenkintown

ASSAULT >> Brandon M. McDonald, 37, of Jenkintown, was charged Nov. 14 with several counts of aggravated assault, terroristic threats, recklessly endangering another person, carrying a firearm without a license and related charges, online court records show. He was arraigned and taken to Montgomery County Prison in lieu of $99,000 bail.
