The end of the 11th month is almost here and C*******s is not that far away!
Read on if you’re thinking about submitting a team for next month’s ‘Daily Challenge game.
Don’t worry if you haven’t played before. Just read the rules below and get pick a team. You might end up top of the Leaderboard with your first attempt! New players are always welcome.
It’s a very easy game to play. The object of the game is to pick a team of 11 characters from those listed below which you think will score the more points than the other people playing the game.
New players will need to pick a name for their team. Those of you who played in the ‘Daily Challenge last month can retain the same name or change it (if you think you’ve thought of something better.)
Once you’ve whittled your shortlist down to 11 characters you will then need to nominate one of them as Captain. This character will have their score doubled so you’re really looking to identify the character which you think will score the most points during the month to maximise your chances of winning.
Then, simply post your choices on the thread or send them to me via PM, and keep an eye out for the Monday ‘Daily to see how your “team” is doing in the score updates.
The scoring system works as follows:-
+ 1 point per episode appearance
+ 1 point for the character that speaks the first words in the episode.
+ 1 point for the character that speaks the last words in the episode before the break.
+ 1 point for the character that speaks the first words in the episode after the break
+ 1 point for the character that speaks the last words in the episode.
+ 1 point for any kiss on the lips.
+ 1 point for any character that mentions the word “tea”.
For clarity this is tea as in ‘cup of tea’, not tea as in the meal.
+ I bonus point for any character that appears in any of the following locations:
* The bridge across the stream
* The sports pavilion
* The play area
Note: this is one point per location per episode. They do not score 3 points if they have three separate scenes in the same location during an episode.
+ 2 bonus points for any character that appears all the episodes of any game week (note that this is a minimum of 5 episodes)
+ Remember that your team Captain gets their score doubled!!!
