RYAN FLAVIN WORKS AT THE NASHUA GARDEN BAR ON MAIN STREET. SHE SAYS IT WAS SHOCKING. HEAR THERE WAS A HIT AND RUN LAST NIGHT IN FRONT OF HER BAR THAT SENT THREE MEN IN THEIR MID-TWENTIES TO THE HOSPITAL. THIS IS REALLY DEVASTATING. IT’S HORRIBLE. FLAVIN SAYS SHE DIDN’T STAY OUT LATE NIGHT, BUT DESCRIBES THE MAIN STREET AREA AS WELL-LIT AT NIGHT, WITH MANY AND USUALLY A VERY SAFE PLACE. NAIL ORTIZ MAIN STREET IS USUALLY A PACKED PLACE WHERE PEOPLE GO TO HIT LOCAL BARS, SHOPS AND RESTAURANTS. SHE SAYS FOR HER, IT’S ALWAYS BEEN A GOOD EXPERIENCE. AND MY POINT OF VIEW, I MEAN, A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE REALLY NICE AROUND HERE, EVERYONE’S REALLY UNDERSTANDING. BUT ALSO PEOPLE WHO DON’T CARE ABOUT OTHERS KNOW, UNFORTUNATELY. POLICE SAY THE HIT AND RUN HAPPENED LAST NIGHT AROUND. 1142 OF THE THREE MEN HIT HAD MINOR INJURIES AND ONE SUFFERED SERIOUS INJURIES. BUT IS TO SURVIVE. I CAN IMAGINE HOW THEIR FAMILY FEELS. THAT’S DEVASTATING. PEOPLE AND ABOUT ON MAIN STREET HAVE THIS MESSAGE. THE DRIVER WHO FLED THE SCENE. HOW COULD YOU LIVE WITH YOURSELF? YOU KNOW, WHOEVER YOU ARE THAT DID THAT YOU KNOW MAN UP, TAKE RESPONSIBILITY, YOU KNOW REGARDLESS OF THE CONSEQUENCES YOU KNOW DO RIGHT THING. NATIONAL SAYS ITS CRIMINAL DIVISION INVESTIGATING.
