Ghana coach shows terrible sportsmanship with crying South Korean player

One member of the Ghana coaching staff was caught on camera taking a selfie with a crying Son Heung-min following South Korea's 3-2 loss in the World Cup on Monday.

The move came as a host of other coaches from the Ghanaian side displayed better sportsmanship, taking time after the match to console the South Korean forward.

South Korea began the 2022 World Cup with a 0-0 draw against Uruguay and trailed Ghana 2-0 at halftime on Monday. A pair of goals from Cho Gue-sung within three minutes of each other tied the contest at 2-2 though, before Ghana's Mohammed Kudus put in the game-winner in the 68th minute.

Ghana is now in second place in Group H at 1-0-1, while South Korea drops to fourth at 0-1-1.

The victors next play Uruguay on Friday, while South Korea take on first-place Portugal on Friday as well.

The 30-year-old Son has been a member of Tottenham Hotspur since 2015 and has been named AFC International Footballer of the Year three times (2015, 2017, 2019). He paced the Premier League in goals during the 2021-2022 season with 23, while adding 10 assists as well.
