Joe Pohlad will take over as the Twins Executive Chair, multiple sources confirmed to WCCO Radio.

Pohlad, who is the son of Bob Pohlad, will take over the position from his uncle, Jim Pohlad. According to the sources, Jim Pohlad will still handle duties as the managing owner of the Twins while Joe will handle the day-to-day operations for the team.

Joe Pohlad, 40, has been with the organization since 2007. He has worked in many of the departments throughout the organization including game operations, their radio group Go Media and most recently in marketing. He also oversaw the brand refresh for the team.

Jim Pohlad will still remain the team's representative with Major League Baseball.
