Kaizer Chiefs are expected to be active in the Premier Soccer League's mid-season transfer window which will run between 1 and 31 January 2023. However, the Soweto giants may look to free up space in their squad and there are fringe players who could request a move away in order to revive their careers. GOAL takes a look at players who need to leave Chiefs for the good of their own careers in January.

The tall defender has found game time hard to come by this season mainly because of the arrival of Edmilson Dove, who is direct competition for Dube. Just like&nbsp;Dube, Dove can operate as a left-back and centre-back and the former is yet to feature for Amakhosi in the current campaign. The 30-year-old reportedly turned down a chance to join Richards Bay shortly after Dove's arrival at Amakhosi in August this year and he could now consider leaving due to lack of game time.

Austin Dube 

The promising attacking midfielder was tipped to leave Amakhosi before the last transfer window closed with Swallows FC being credited with an interest in his services. However, Radebe stayed put at the Naturena-based giants and he has struggled to cement his place in the starting line-up with experienced and seasoned players preferred ahead of him. At the age of 22, the Soweto-born youngster should be playing regularly in order to develop into an even better player and he could really do with a transfer to a club that will offer him regular game time.

Sabelo Radebe 

The South Africa youth international's growth as a goalkeeper has become stagnant since he was promoted to the Chiefs first team from the academy two seasons ago. Molefe, 19, is the fourth choice keeper behind Itumeleng Khune, Brandon Petersen and Bruce Bvuma, and he is yet to make his professional debut. Chiefs reserve team keeper Lungile Nkosi has been training with the first team on occasions and this should be a sign that it is time for Molefe to move to a team which will offer him first team football while on loan from Amakhosi.

Bontle Molefe

The 30-year-old midfield maestro has failed to live up to expectations since he joined Chiefs last year from Stellenbosch FC where he was a reliable goalscoring midfielder. Nange has found himself behind Njabulo Blom, Yusuf Maart, Cole Alexander and Sinethemba Sithebe in the midfield pecking order and he has made just one appearance in the PSL this term. Lately, reserve team star Samkelo Zwane has been getting playing time ahead of Nange who clearly needs a transfer away from Amakhosi in order to revive his career.

Phathutshedzo Nange 

The promising striker has struggled for game time under his former Chiefs reserve team coach, Zwane despite the team being thin in their striking department. Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana and Ashley du Preez are the only senior strikers in the Amakhosi squad, while Khama Billiat has been deployed as a makeshift striker by Zwane at times. Sifama is yet to make an appearance in this campaign and the&nbsp;19-year-old should push for a loan move as the Soweto giants are set to reinforce their striking department&nbsp;in January.

Keletso Sifama 

The 24-year-old left-footer has fallen out of favour since coach Arthur Zwane took charge of the team as the head coach ahead of the current campaign. Sifiso Hlanti and Reeve Frosler are both preferred ahead of Mashiane in the left-back position and left-sided defender Bradley Cross is on trial at Chiefs. It is clear that Mashiane is not part of Zwane's immediate team plans and the&nbsp;talented player should&nbsp;ask for a loan move in order to get some game time which would enhance his development.&nbsp;
