HENRY COUNTY, Iowa —

Two people were killed in a weekend crash in southeast Iowa.

It happened just after 4 p.m. Saturday on U.S. Highway 34 near Racine Ave. in Henry County.

According to the Iowa State Patrol crash report, a westbound van driven by Sean M. Reid, 48, of Stockport, Iowa, traveled off the roadway, crossed the eastbound lanes and entered the ditch.

The vehicle then hit a parked truck, rolled on its side and came to rest.

Killed in the crash were Sherry L. Reid, 50, of Stockport, Iowa, and Judith M. Ellis, 73, of Ollie, Iowa.

Sean Reid and Carol R. Johnson, 65, of Fairfield, Iowa, were taken by helicopter to University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics for treatment.

Tammi L. Ellis, 45, of Ollie, Iowa, was taken by Henry County Ambulance to Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center.

The Iowa State Patrol was assisted at the crash by the Henry County Sheriff's Office, Henry County Medical Examiner's Office, New London Police and Fire Department, Des Moines County Sheriff's Office and Henry County EMS.
