A man was charged with murder in the shooting death of a 60-year-old man in the Auburn Gresham, police said.
Harry Bowen, 46, faces a first-degree murder charge after allegedly fatally shooting Gerald Bonner at 78th and Honore early Saturday morning, according to Chicago police.
After allegedly fighting with Bowen, Bonner was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn with gunshot wounds to the chest, abdomen and thigh. He later died at the hospital.
Bowen, who couldn’t be reached for comment, is scheduled to appear in bond court Monday.
