73-year-old killed in crash on I-22 in Adamsville

ADAMSVILLE, Ala. ( WIAT ) — A Birmingham man is dead following a crash in Adamsville on Nov. 23.

According to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office, Ernest Lee King Jr., 73, died when his car crossed over the median on Interstate 22 and wrecked on an embankment.

The Adamsville Police Department is continuing to investigate the cause and circumstance surrounding the accident.
