COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Smoke was visible off I-25 in Colorado Springs on Tuesday in connection to a semi-fire. The Colorado Springs Fire Department asked the public to be careful in the area of 4225 Sinton Rd. at about 1:40 p.m. The site is east of I-25 and just south of Garden of the Gods Road.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - A major power outage in Colorado Springs was caused by a crash on Tuesday. At about 5:30 p.m. Colorado Springs Utilities reported the outage impacting about 4,200 customers happened after a vehicle hit “electric equipment.” The estimated restoration time for all customers at about 5:30 p.m. was one to four hours near Powers and Barnes on the northeast side of the city.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - A man is expected to recover after he was shot in a car early Tuesday morning. The victim showed at a Colorado Springs hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg shortly before 3 a.m. Police were then alerted by hospital staff, and officers went to talk to the victim.

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (KKTV) - The Colorado Bureau of Investigation issued a statewide alert on Tuesday for a missing teen. According to the state agency, 14-year-old Mckenna Ferguson was last seen on the morning of Feb. 2 in the Englewood area. A black-and-white photo of Ferguson is at the top of this article. According to the poster, she has brown and blue hair along with brown eyes.

Around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, the Colorado Springs Police Department responded to a shooting near the Havana Bar and Grill near Academy and Maizeland. Officers found a man with a gunshot wound, who was taken to the hospital. Police have not released the extent of the victim’s injuries.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - The charred remains of a car were left on side of the interstate following a vehicle fire Tuesday morning. State Patrol initially responding to I-25 and Interquest as a reported five-vehicle crash but only found the single scorched car abandoned on the side of the road. A spokesperson with State Patrol tells 11 News the other vehicles seen at the crash site were likely picking the occupants up.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - A Colorado Springs Utilities worker was hospitalized after their vehicle was hit by an alleged drunk driver overnight. Police say the employee was working at New Life Drive and Voyager Parkway just before 2 a.m. when the collision happened. The alleged drunk driver, his passenger and the Springs Utilities worker were all hospitalized in the crash.

FREMONT COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) - A fire is currently under investigation in Fremont County. Around 2 p.m. Monday, the Canon City Area Fire Protection District responded to a mobile home park near Highway 115 and Poplar to a structure fire. Firefighters found two mobile homes on fire, with a third threatened.

WOODLAND PARK, Colo. (KKTV) - A Teller County man is facing a slew of drug charges after fentanyl, meth, heroin and other narcotics were allegedly found on his property. Law enforcement executed a search warrant Sunday at a home in the 900 block of Woodland Avenue, which is on the outskirts of Woodland Park. The Teller County Sheriff’s Office says its deputies recovered approximately 108 fentanyl pills, 2.6 grams of meth, seven needles loaded with heroin, another .55 grams of heroin, a combined 125 Seroquel and Trazadone pills, and 400 milliliters of an unknown liquid substance. A loaded pistol was also located in the home.
