Wrong-way driver dies after head-on crash in Delaware
Police say a driver was speeding and going the wrong way, when his car slammed head-on into a pickup truck in Delaware.

GLASGOW, Delaware (WPVI) -- Police say a driver was speeding and going the wrong way when his car slammed head-on into a pickup truck in Delaware.

The wreck happened around 10:30 p.m. Sunday on Route 40 westbound near Pleasant Valley Road in Glasgow.

Police say a male driver from Elkton, Maryland was traveling in a Subaru on the wrong side of the road when he barreled into a pickup truck driven by a Newark man.

The wrong way driver died while being treated in the hospital.

The driver of the pickup was last listed in serious but stable condition.
