The Harrisburg Cougars are the 2022 District 3 6A champions once again after defeating Manheim township 44-6 in convincing fashion. The Cougars came out and played physical and with attitude from the start.
The way Harrisburg dominated the game it would be hard to believe that Manheim Township beat the Cougars earlier this season but this was not the same Cougar team.
Terrell Reynolds caused absolute havoc all game finishing with 3 sacks and a crucial forced fumble. Quarterback Shawn Lee was poised in the pocket and when he did decide to run it was no easy task bringing the standout sophomore to the ground. Lee finished the game with 3 rushing touchdowns and 1 passing touchdown.
Temple commit Kyle Williams was not to be left out of the party. Williams led the Cougars in rushing yards with 76 yards on 14 carries. Williams made play after play and consistently was able to make Manheim defenders miss in open space.
