A “Mass Cash” lottery ticket worth $100,000 was sold on Sunday, according to the Massachusetts State Lottery.
The winning ticket was sold in Hubbardston from the Hubbardston One Stop Shop.
Mass Cash is a numbers game where players can choose five numbers ranging from 1-35 for their ticket. Drawings are daily at 9 p.m., and the lottery player must match all five numbers on their ticket to win $100,000.
If they match four numbers, they win $250, and if three are matched, the prize is $10.
The overall odds of the game are 1 in 72, according to the Massachusetts State Lottery, and tickets are $1.
Overall, there were 152 winning lottery tickets worth at least $600 sold in Massachusetts on Sunday, including one in Springfield and two in Worcester.
The Massachusetts State Lottery releases a full list of all the winning tickets each day. The list only includes winning tickets worth more than $600.
The largest lottery prize won in Massachusetts this year was worth $16.35 million, which was part of the game Megabucks Doubler. It was purchased at Cumberland Farms in Ware. There were also three $15 million prizes won in the commonwealth this year.
