Drunk driver flips car: Brunswick Hills Township Police Blotter

Police and fire units responded to a rollover crash at 6:11 p.m. Nov. 6. The driver was taken to a hospital for treatment and was later questioned by police.

The Lakewood woman said she crashed when she swerved to avoid hitting a deer.

She reportedly showed signs of impairment and failed field sobriety tests at the hospital. She was cited for operating a motor vehicle while impaired, reckless operation and failure to maintain reasonable control.

Loose dogs: Orchard Drive

A woman called police at 9:27 a.m. Nov. 11 to report that her neighbor’s dogs had come into her yard. The woman said this is an ongoing issue and she feels threatened by the dogs.

Police contacted the owner of the dogs and she was cited for animals at large.
