It has been several weeks since the death of Migos rapper Takeoff, and there is a loud cry from his family to find and jail the person responsible for his untimely demise.

In recent reports, Houston police arrested a rapper who goes by the name of Lil Cam for felony charges of unlawful carry of a weapon last Nov. 22.

According to Uproxx, the 16-year-old was linked to the late rapper's murder, but as investigations are still ongoing, authorities have been tight-lipped.

As of this writing, no police statement has been released on whether Lil Cam is Takeoff's killer, but he is being held by authorities.

Numerous speculation on what really happened the night of the shooting has done their rounds on the internet, and this time Lil Cam is the subject of everybody's ire.

According to Marca, the rapper, born Joshua Isaiah Cameron, is a member of Mob Ties Records.

Lil Cam is a convicted felon who was out on bail, which has made him a person of interest in the case,  the HotNewHipHop reported.

Much about Lil Cam's connection to Takeoff's death is unknown as of this writing, but reports noted that he could be hit with more charges if authorities connected him to the killing.

This comes after Houston Police denied that the case was going cold and that they are "confident" that a suspect in relation to the case will be brought to justice.

"I feel good where we're progressing," said Houston Police Chief Troy Finner. "You remember on that day, I met with his mother. I talked with that lady personally, made a promise and there's a lot being said,

"We want all investigations on murders when people are being killed to move. But the main thing is we get it right,

"I do not want to send family members on a rollercoaster ride, and then we have to come back and say, 'Whoa, that wasn't the person.' I want everyone to be patient and just understand there will be some justice here in Houston, Texas."

Takeoff was reportedly in a bowling alley in Houston, Texas on Nov. 1, when an altercation broke out and he was fatally shot. He was 28 years old.
