AND TEN THEY’RE NOW NINE AND TWO WELL THE FIELD OF FOUR IS SET FOR THIS PLAY VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT, NEBRASKA MAKING THE DANCE FOR THE 41ST STRAIGHT YEAR. THE OPEN WITH DELAWARE STATE ON THURSDAY. BUT AFTER DROPPING BACK TO BACK MATCHES TO FINISH THE REGULAR SEASON THIS WEEKEND, THE HUSKERS SEE THE POSTSEASON AS AN OPPORTUNITY TO TURN THE PAGE ON THE NCAA BRITTNEY SIX MATCHES NOW IT’S A SIX MATCH SEASON TO THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP SO IT’S LIKE EVERYBODY GETS EVERYBODY STARTS FROM THE SAME SPOT AND OPTIMISTIC AND EVERYBODY’S GOT HOPE AND EVERYBODY THINKS THEY CAN DO IT. AND SO I THINK THAT’S KIND OF WHAT I SENSED IN THERE. THERE’S A LOT THAT WE CAN LEARN FROM THIS PAST WEEKEND, AND I THINK THAT TOMORROW STARTS A NEW SEASON. SO WE JUST GOT TO TAKE ALL THE LOSSES WE’VE HAD THIS YEAR AND ALL THE WINS AND JUST TAKE ALL THE GOOD THINGS WE CAN FROM THEM AND JUST GET BETTER FROM EVERY MATCH WE PLAYED. HUSKERS BEGIN PLAY THURSDAY 7:00 AGAINST DELAWARE STATE. THE WINNER OF THAT GAME FACES THE WINNER OF KANSAS MIAMI IN SECOND ROUND MATCH FRIDAY NIGHT. CREIGHTON, MEANWHILE, GOING FOR THE 11TH STRAIGHT SEASON, CELEBRATING AT DEEJAYS DUGOUT TONIGHT OUT OF MIRACLE HILLS. THEY OPEN UP WITH AUBURN FRIDAY. NOW, THEY KNEW, OF COURSE, THAT THEY WOULD GET INTO THE TOURNAMENT THAT PROBABLY WOULD HOST AND THEY ARE BUT IT’S STILL THRILLING TO HEAR THAT YOUR NAME CALLED I THINK WE TAKE IT FOR GRANTED TO LIKE WE’RE SITTING THERE NOT WORRIED ABOUT WHETHER GOING TO GET IN BUT WHETHER WE’RE GOING TO HOST OR WHETHER WE’RE GOING TO PLAY AT STANFORD OR WHATEVER, YOU KNOW. BUT I THINK YOU HAVE TO TAKE A STEP BACK AND REALIZE THAT, YOU KNOW, THERE’S HOW MANY TEAMS THAT DON’T EVEN MAKE THE TOURNAMENT, YOU KNOW, SO REALIZING HOW SPECIAL THAT IS. AND THEN JUST GOING FOR IT. NOW, THIS IS WHAT EVERYONE DREAMS ABOUT. SO NOW IT’S GO TIME AND YOU KNOW, YOU KNOW, WE KNOW WE’VE GOT A TOUGH AUBURN TEAM AND THEN, YOU KNOW, A TOUGH HOUSTON AND SOUTH DAKOTA TEAM COMING IN. BUT WE’RE EXCITED. AND YOU KNOW, THEY’LL BE READY TO GO FIRST. MEETING BETWEEN CREIGHTON AND AUBURN AND VOLLEYBALL IT’S THE SECOND MATCH FRIDA
