Jalen Hurts, Miles Sanders make Eagles history in win over Packers

The Philadelphia Eagles rushing attack dominated the Green Bay Packers Sunday night in a 40-33 victory, led by historic nights on the ground from quarterback Jalen Hurts and running back Miles Sanders.

Hurts and Sanders finished with more than 130 rushing yards each, becoming the first Eagles to do so in the franchise's history.

As a team, the Eagles rushed for 363 yards, the most since 1948, with 300 yards coming from Hurts and Sanders.

Hurts rushed 17 times Sunday night, finishing with a team-high 157 yards. Meanwhile, Sanders ran for 143 yards off 21 attempts.

According to Jeff Kerr of CBS Sports, Hurts became the first player in NFL history to throw and rush for 150-plus yards and throw two or more touchdowns in a regular season game.

While Hurts dazzled with his legs against the Packers, he was also impactful with his arm. Hurts finished 16-of-28 for 153 yards and two touchdowns.

Sanders posted his first 100-plus yard game since rushing for 134 yards in Week 4 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The fourth-year back also tallied two touchdowns on Sunday night, giving him a career-high of eight for the season.

Hurts and Sanders' performance helped the Eagles become the first team to reach ten wins this season.

Philadelphia has won two in a row since its perfect season ended against the Washington Commanders in Week 10. The Eagles will look to improve to 11-1 next week, hosting the Tennessee Titans, who are coming off a 20-16 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.
