IT WAS JUST BE A SLOW CLIMB TO THE FIRST PART OF THE DAY WITH MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES AND HOLD TIGHT THROUGH A GOOD CHUNK OF THE AFTERNOON. 48 MIDDAY HIGHS NEAR 51 TODAY, A FEW PEAKS SUDDEN LATE DAY. BUT OVERALL, THE CLOUDS ARE GOING TO WIN OUT TODAY. ABOUT FOUR AND A HALF INCHES SHY OF WHERE WE BE FOR THE YEAR TO DATE AT 39.3. SO IT ACTUALLY COULD USE A LITTLE MORE RAIN. MORE IS GOING TO BE ON THE WAY. WE’LL BE WATCHING THAT CLOSELY BECAUSE CAN’T RULE OUT A COUPLE OF STRONGER CELLS. BUT I DO WANT TO HIGHLIGHT THE BIGGER THREAT FOR SEVERE WEATHER GOES ABOUT MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE, DOWN TOWARDS THE LOUISIANA MISSISSIPPI BORDER AROUND VICKSBURG AND ALSO GREENVILLE, MISSISSIPPI. THAT’S GOING TO BE THE MAIN THREAT OF SEVERE WEATHER. BUT FOR US TUESDAY NIGHT, WE ARE ON THE LOWEST EDGE OF. THE SCALE, MARGINAL RISK OR LEVEL ONE OUT OF FIVE. BUT WE’RE GOING TO KEEP OUR GUARD UP FOR A COUPLE OF STRONGER WIND GUSTS WITH ANY CELLS THAT GET GOING THERE. AND THE TUESDAY NIGHT TO WEDNESDAY MORNING TIME FRAME AS A COLD FRONT MOVES THROUGH, WE’LL FROM 63, TUESDAY, 55 IS THE MORNING HIGH ON WILL BE FALLING INTO THE FORTIES DURING THE DAY AND THEN THURSDAY A VERY CHILLY WITH LOWS NEAR 26 AND A HIGH OF ONLY 40 DEGREES.
