According to the sheriff’s office, the woman was asleep in her home in the 1000 block of Enchanted Mesa Street, and sometime after 10:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 21, she awoke to an unknown man attacking her who also burglarized the home. That man is believed to be Sanders.

NCSO said the woman was subjected to “repeated brutal attacks” and then forced into the back of her Honda Civic which was driven to Pahrump’s Desert View Hospital where a second suspect, Richard Duncan, 31, got into the car.
